Xing Connector for Outlook 2013
No good news for MS Outlook 2013 users: I did a short internet research on this topic, with a negative result. Either way it is possible to use the 2010 plugin of Xing, useing an external connector or programming your own one;). Due to my opinion none of the options are acceptable. Does anybody know if Xing will develop a new connector for Outlook 2013?
Security Token Service is unavailable

If you plug in a SD card into your apple camera connection kit bare in mind that the ipad all pictures have to be in the folder DCIM. If this folder does not exist the ipad won`t start the foto app.

SharePoint 2010: Workflow BCC Field
The Default view of the e-mail template in SharePoint 2010 does not allows BCC fields. It is possible to add BCC fields for e-mails in your workflow. To activate this you have to fall back on a short trick: Insert your planned BCC recepient into the CC field of the e-mail. In SharePoint Designer navigate to the folder that holds the newly created workflow files (usaually it is stored under /sitename/workflows > navigate to “All files” then “Workflows). Open the XOML file of the workflow with Notepad (use right-click). Then search for the CC and BCC field and change CC with BCC (you will find them in the :EmailActivity node). Save the file, reopen the workflow, doublecheck the empty CC field, republish, thats it!

Moderne Webbrowser
Firefox 4, Internet Explorer 9, Chrome 10 … die Veröffentlichungszyklen der modernen Browser werden immer kürzen. Technisch scheint es, dass der Weg generell in Richtung HTML5 gehen wird. Javascript Performance und die generell Geschwindigkeit der Browser gilt ebenso als wichtiges Anwenderkriterium. Ich persönlich habe vor kurzem vom Firefox 4 als Hauptbrowser zurückentdeckt, nachdem ich eine zeitlang Chrome als Hauptbrowser verwendete. Aktuell richtet sich mein Augemerk auf eine baldige Veröffentlichung von IE 10 und FF 5 … Opera konnte mich persönlich nie wirklich überzeugen.
FireFox 4 und PPC-Architektur
Leider wurde mit Firefox Version 4 die Unterstützung der PPC Architektur eingestellt. Dem User bleibt daher entweder die Option Version 3.6.x zu verwenden oder auf das Projekt TenFourFox zurückzugreifen. IE9 als Release Candidate verfügbar
Der IE9 ist ab sofort als Release Candidate verfügbar. Meinen ersten Eindrücken zu Folge hat sich Geschwindigkeitsseitig einiges getan, auch werden die Seiten nun ohne Fehlermeldungen (wie noch in der Beta) geladen. Abstürze gabs noch keine.

Nach mehreren Beta-Versionen und einem Release Candidate ist es nun endlich soweit: Joomla! 1.6 wurde veröffentlicht. Die neue Version bringt als wichtigstes Feature eine neue ACL-Verwaltung mit. Den Download findet man auf der Projektwebsite.
